Janitorial Custodial Certification

The Janitorial Custodial Certification was created due to the ever changing role of the janitorial professionals in today’s facilities and the need for more than just knowledge of how to clean. Custodians, also known as janitors, keep buildings clean. Custodians work to make sure that all types of buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. Custodians spend their days picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, making sure buildings are secure, cleaning windows, and minor building maintenance and repairs. The majority of custodians only work inside buildings, some might have to keep lawns or sidewalks clean, mowing grass, tending to ornamental gardens, raking leaves or shoveling snow.

There are fees attached to each certificate.

Certification is more than just a piece of paper – it shows commitment to your career, personal growth, safety, current business trends, and a dedication to business & industry. Members should never stop learning and certify at their own pace.
