This course was designed to help our members understand Coronaviruses and the cleaning protocols applications to minimize the risk of infection in public and private spaces. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans, several coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The most recently discovered coronavirus causes coronavirus disease COVID-19.

COVID-19 is not likely to go away anytime soon. The virus might also evolve and mutate to create even more havoc in the near future. JATT’s goal is to educate all our members in groundbreaking and modern approaches to clean, disinfect and sanitize spaces. Cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing are at the heart of the approaches to minimize the spread of this diseases. JATT’s members must be at the forefront of those certified in the fight against this dangerous and unpredictable disease.
